Requirements
Valley Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking one full-time associate. Our practice was first established in 1975, and we have been providing the Fox Valley community with exceptional care for 40+ years. Valley Vet is seeing tremendous growth and we are beginning the building process of our new veterinary center. We offer clients and patients a complete range of high-quality veterinary services including therapeutic laser, acupuncture, ultrasound, digital dental and full body radiography, full IDEXX in-house lab with Sedivue, blood products, isoflurane anesthesia, and EzyVet software. In addition, we offer a wide range of telemedicine capabilities including consultation in the following areas: cardiology, neurology, internal medicine, radiology, pathology, and dermatology. Our team is a hard-working, fun, and committed group that is dedicated to providing the very best for our patients and clients. We are looking for someone with similar values who is ready to grow with us! We take pride in mentorship and would be happy to talk with a new graduate. Schedule and Compensation - We work a rotating schedule allowing for busy days to be followed by slower days. Our doctors' schedules average 34-38 hours per week and ensure 3-day weekends every other week. Excellent base salary based on experience plus percentage. We pay professional liability insurance, health insurance, DEA registration, memberships in the local, state and national organizations such as AVMA, and AAHA. We offer paid holidays (major), paid vacation, IRA with 3% match. You will have white coats provided to you and those will be dry cleaned weekly. In addition, we offer an excellent, comprehensive pet discount plan that includes personal pets as well as the pets of parents, siblings, and extended family. Continuing CE - Our veterinarians are provided a stipend for travel to a national meeting annually as well as local continuing education. Fox Valley - Oshkosh is a city on the rise, experiencing wonderful growth over the last 10 years. Our region is expanding with new business, culture, sporting events, and much more.
