We prioritize preventative care and are well equipped with digital radiology, an in-house lab, ultrasound, therapy laser, and a long-term, highly skilled support staff (including multiple LVTs)! Our multi-doctor team primarily sees small animals and pocket pets; however, we also treat avian and wildlife patients on occasion. We promote a strong culture, where everyone enjoys each other’s company, and our hospital feels like a home away from home.

Job Description

Animal Clinic East has a new opportunity for an animal lover to join our team as a professional groomer. We are searching for a staff member who loves working with dogs and ideally has prior grooming experience. This is a full-time role with a flexible schedule, but availability generally needed M-F. You are responsible for all grooming services including: Brush out, flea treatments, clipping/filing nails Keeping your area clean throughout day and end of shift Engaging with customers to ensure their requests are understood Evaluating the condition of the pet and addressing any styling/grooming concerns Must have prior knowledge and comfortability working with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Must have prior knowledge of breed grooming standards Full-time benefits and compensation**: Compensation: $17.13 per hour, for each hour worked* + $50% commission on grooms (minus wages paid) + tips Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law 401k options Personal pet discount Animal Clinic East is a full-service hospital that offers routine medical care, emergency surgery, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, and grooming services to Walla Walla pets.
