Overview
Animal Clinic East is a full-service hospital that offers routine medical care, emergency surgery, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, and grooming services to Walla Walla pets. We prioritize preventative care and are well equipped with digital radiology, an in-house lab, ultrasound, therapy laser, and a long-term, highly skilled support staff (including multiple LVTs)! Our multi-doctor team primarily sees small animals and pocket pets; however, we also treat avian and wildlife patients on occasion. We promote a strong culture, where everyone enjoys each other’s company, and our hospital feels like a home away from home.
Located right across the Oregon border, Walla Walla is a beautiful southern Washington city with a population of approximately 35,000. It's one of the finest wine regions in the nation, with nearly 3,000 acres of vineyards 🍷 We have a tree-lined city center and one of the best small town Main Streets in the country for shopping and great eats! Plus we're community centered, with fun events like art festivals, farmer's markets, outdoor concerts, and more!
Requirements
Open to all experience levels! We’re happy to mentor recent graduates and early career doctors, and also have a great team of doctors who’d be eager to collaborate with an experienced DVM. We currently have seven doctors of varying experience levels, including two doctors who have been with us for more than 35 years! We’re currently open 7:30am-5:30pm on weekdays and on Saturdays for emergency care from 8am-2pm. Outside of normal business hours, we have veterinarians and technicians available by phone and share emergency hours with other clinics in Walla Walla. We’re searching for a full-time doctor who can provide four days of coverage each week (4-10s). Our DVM team has set schedules, typically with 4 or 5 doctors on each day.
