Licensed Veterinary Technician – Internal Medicine Compensation: $30–38/hr Full-time opportunity in Shoreline, Washington at Animal Medical Center of Seattle Schedule: Day shifts: Wednesday–Saturday, 8am–6pm Animal Medical Center of Seattle (AMCS) is looking for friendly and career minded Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our Internal Medicine Department in providing specialty animal care in Shoreline, WA. Our doctors, support staff and managers all work together to provide the most comprehensive care and customer service for our patients, clients, and the referring veterinary community. As part of our Internal Medicine team, you'll build your skills in a collaborative, specialty-focused environment. In your day-to-day, you will: Provide skilled nursing care for internal medicine patients Support anesthesia and specialty procedures alongside the medical team Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture What You Bring Currently licensed or eligible to become licensed as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington; VTS credentialed technicians or those interested in pursuing obtaining VTS credentials are encouraged to apply At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting; specialty medicine experience is preferred but not required Competency in the general knowledge and nursing skills required to care for internal medicine patients; preference will be given to Veterinary Technicians with a strong background in anesthesia Able to bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for long periods of time; can individually and frequently lift patients and inventory up to 40 pounds Perks & Benefits Compensation is based on experience and skill level. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
