Job Description

Relief Licensed Veterinary Technician – Emergency $28.00–$32.00/hr + $3.50/hr Night Shift Premium Differential Relief / Per Diem opportunity in Pasco, WA Schedule: Relief / Per Diem, flexible schedules available. Weekend coverage needed (Saturday–Sunday Day Shift). Traveling relief LVTs welcome, mileage reimbursement and lodging assistance available for anyone picking up two or more consecutive shifts. Mid-Columbia Pet Emergency Service has expanded our doctor team and is looking to add more LVTs to our practice! In your day-to-day, you will: Perform patient restraint, venipuncture, IVC placement, and collect accurate vitals Perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations Interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and appropriate confidentiality and discretion Learn and grow in emergency medicine skills under mentorship from experienced LVTs Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture What You Bring Licensed Veterinary Technician in the State of Washington High school diploma, and graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician Program or equivalent; A.S.
