Those specialists, and many others, are also a resource for our 24-hour emergency vet practice at Kirkland, which has a dedicated intensive care unit. Our 20,000 square-foot hospital has a CT scanner, MRI, digital radiography, ultrasonography, fluoroscopy and endoscopy, along with a new on-site commercial pathology lab. The hospital is located in a business complex near Jasper’s Dog Park. There is free on-site parking and easy access to I-405.

The BluePearl emERge Program is designed to give veterinary school graduates the necessary training to become successful Emergency Veterinarians. It is a full-time job from the very beginning and we will prepare you for your first solo emergency shift at one of our BluePearl hospitals. The program combines lectures, interactive seminars, labs, mentoring, and hands-on practice experience. Not only will you receive valuable training from experienced Veterinarians, you will also be paid a salary from the first day of your course. Who is it for? This program does not replace or substitute an internship which is required for application to a residency. A graduate of an accredited veterinary school Individual with a sincere interest in becoming an Emergency Veterinarian A current Veterinarian looking for a career change. Program Structure emERge is a one-year training program divided into three segments. Your salary will be tiered and increase as you complete each segment of the program. 16 weeks of initial training/boot camp. Four of these weeks will be spent in Clearwater, Florida (lodging & airfare are provided). The remaining 12 weeks will be at your primary hospital. 16 weeks of immersive training, guided by an experienced Veterinarian. 20 weeks of experiential training. The total commitment is three years, including the initial year of training. The 20,000-square-foot hospital houses a highly qualified team who deliver veterinary care 24 hours a day, 7 days per week in emergency medicine, critical care, internal medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, clinical pathology, surgery, radiology and diagnostic imaging. The latest diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities offered in the Kirkland hospital include digital radiography, ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, electro-chemotherapy, CO2 LASER, a dedicated intensive care unit, and full-service in-house laboratory. We currently support an internship and residency program that promotes a learning atmosphere. The BluePearl Kirkland team believes in collaborative medicine between all departments to provide patients comprehensive care.
