Experienced Veterinary Receptionist If you are a skilled Veterinary Receptionist wanting to work in a Team environment while continuing to grow, then this is where you want to work! Sawyer Lake Veterinary Hospital is a local Animal Hospital, since 2009, catering to the needs of small animal, exotics, and avian for their medical care. We pride ourselves in the care we deliver to our clients. As a Veterinary Receptionist in our hospital, you are an important component to the good care we deliver. This position is the voice and first point of contact for the hospital. If you are someone who can multi-task, while remaining calm, take charge and clearly communicate with our staff and clients, we want to talk to you. Requirements for the right Team Member are : A Minimum of 1 year experience in a small animal veterinary practice Computer and telephone skills (Avimark software system is a plus) Ability to handle cash drawer and basic math skills Animal handling and general care skills, preferred Able to communicate professionally in speaking and writing Available to work weekend/holiday hours as needed Position is Full-Time, with scheduling between 30-40 hours per week Team members are eligible for health benefits after 60 days including Medical (paid by Hospital for the team member), Dental, paid time off, matching retirement fund, Holiday pay (including your Birthday off!), continuing education allowances and discounted veterinary care for your pet(s)
