Nurtured Noses Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, single-doctor practice that opened in April 2025 with a vision of creating a different kind of veterinary experience—one centered on genuine camaraderie, personalized medicine, and exceptional patient care. We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about patient care and excited to continue growing their skills. Whether you're an experienced assistant looking to expand your responsibilities or someone working toward becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician, we'd love to meet you. What Makes This Opportunity Different At Nurtured Noses, we believe growth should be intentional. You'll work closely alongside our veterinarian, LVTs, and support team while gaining hands-on experience in patient care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, client communication, and hospital operations. As our hospital grows, so will your opportunities to learn and take on new responsibilities. What You'll Do • Assist the DVM during examinations, treatments, and procedures • Prepare patients for surgery and assist with surgical and dental procedures • Safely restrain and handle patients while prioritizing low-stress handling techniques • Collect patient histories and assist with client communication • Perform laboratory preparation and diagnostic support tasks • Assist with radiology and treatment procedures • Support hospitalized patients and monitor patient comfort • Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture Our Team You'll be joining a supportive and growing team that currently includes: • 1 Veterinarian • Licensed Veterinary Technicians • 3 Veterinary Assistants • 2 Client Support Team Members • 1 Kennel Support Team Member We believe every team member plays an important role in providing exceptional care to our patients and clients.
