We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about patient care and excited to continue growing their skills. You'll work closely alongside our veterinarian, LVTs, and support team while gaining hands-on experience in patient care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, client communication, and hospital operations. As our hospital grows, so will your opportunities to learn and take on new responsibilities. What You'll Do • Assist the DVM during examinations, treatments, and procedures • Prepare patients for surgery and assist with surgical and dental procedures • Safely restrain and handle patients while prioritizing low-stress handling techniques • Collect patient histories and assist with client communication • Perform laboratory preparation and diagnostic support tasks • Assist with radiology and treatment procedures • Support hospitalized patients and monitor patient comfort • Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture Our Team You'll be joining a supportive and growing team that currently includes: • 1 Veterinarian • Licensed Veterinary Technicians • 3 Veterinary Assistants • 2 Client Support Team Members • 1 Kennel Support Team Member We believe every team member plays an important role in providing exceptional care to our patients and clients.
