Help Build a Surgical Program You're Proud Of! Nurtured Noses Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, single-doctor practice that opened in April 2025 with a vision of creating a different kind of veterinary experience—one centered on exceptional medicine, genuine camaraderie, and professional growth. We're looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is passionate about surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, and patient advocacy. If you enjoy being the patient's voice during procedures and want the opportunity to help shape a growing surgical program, we'd love to meet you. As one of our LVTs, you'll have a significant voice in shaping patient care protocols, anesthesia standards, workflow design, and the culture of our growing hospital. What Makes This Opportunity Different Our hospital currently performs surgery two days each week, and we have plans to continue expanding surgical services as we grow. We are seeking a technician who wants to play an active role in building a high-quality surgical and dental program. Future opportunities may include: • Surgery Lead responsibilities • Development of anesthesia and analgesia protocols • Surgical workflow improvement • Dentistry program development • Mentoring assistants in perioperative patient care What You'll Do • Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia patients • Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography • Place IV catheters and obtain diagnostic samples • Assist with surgical procedures and patient preparation • Advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout hospitalization • Maintain accurate anesthesia and treatment records • Collaborate with the veterinarian to continuously improve standards of care What We're Looking For • Active Washington State LVT license • Strong anesthesia and nursing skills • Interest in dentistry and surgical patient care • Excellent attention to detail • Commitment to patient safety • Team-first mentality and positive attitude • Desire to grow into a leadership role as the practice expands Schedule • 4-5 day work week • No weekend hours • One annual weekend for our hospital open house and volunteer at one of community events Benefits • Paid time off and paid sick leave • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Employee pet care discounts • Washington State license reimbursement • Opportunities for leadership, growth, and professional development • A meaningful voice in hospital decisions and future direction • A workplace rooted in integrity, kindness, accountability, and teamwork • Flexibility to discuss compensation and employment terms based on experience, skills, and career goals If you're excited by the idea of helping build a surgical program while practicing high-quality medicine in a supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you.
