Lamoille Valley Veterinary Services is seeking a full-time veterinarian to care for small animals, mostly cats and dogs. Our service offerings and capabilities are outlined below, and the caseload includes wellness, problem, some emergency, urgent care, surgery and dentistry patients. There is plenty of interesting work, handled as a team. Distinguishing attributes: • Canine Reproductive Services • Laparoscopic surgery • Investment in RECOVER CPR -we have training, a defibrillator and end tidal CO2. • Clinical Behavior Medicine • Transfusion Medicine • Acupuncture These offerings arose from veterinarians and staff with interests that they wanted to pursue. We are working on adding Canine Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine to the mix. Come help us do even more, and we’ll support your aspirations. Other progressive attributes: • AAHA accreditation since 1988 • Certified Cat Friendly Gold • Certified Silver Practice for Low-Stress Handling • An in-house laboratory as well as access to outside laboratories for specialized diagnostics and blood panels that aren’t urgent • Digital imaging both for whole body, dental work, and ultrasound • A well-managed in-house pharmacy • A well-designed surgical space. • We have relationships with specialists as well as two emergency practices in the Burlington area for referrals. • The Cat Side at LVVS • A Separate Comfort Room • A varied group of veterinarians in an open office which facilitates collaboration. Our doctors include graduates from Penn Vet, Tuskegee, Missouri, University of Florida, and University College Dublin (Ireland).
