Associate Veterinarian | Exotics + Surgery | Essex Junction, VT Are you looking for a practice where you can genuinely enjoy coming to work each day? Our hospital is fully equipped with modern technology and strong clinical support, including: Digital radiography Digital dental radiography In-house IDEXX integrated laboratory system Ultrasound Laser Ligasure and cautery Paperless IDEXX Cornerstone system Skilled Certified Veterinary Technicians who help maximize efficiency and patient care We maintain a loyal and highly engaged client base that values thorough communication and quality medicine. In addition to dogs and cats, we also see a wide variety of species including: Small mammals Pet birds Reptiles Poultry Wildlife Previous exotic animal experience is not required. We are happy to mentor veterinarians who are interested in learning to work with these species. An interest in practicing beyond traditional dog and cat medicine is strongly encouraged.   We are seeking a veterinarian who: DVM licensed (or eligible) in Vermont Enjoys building relationships with clients and coworkers Communicates clearly and compassionately Values teamwork and collaboration Has an interest in surgery (surgical experience is a plus) Has an interest in a variety of species Wants to continue learning and growing professionally Is excited about practicing diverse and interesting medicine Experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply, but we also welcome recent graduates who are serious about developing their skills in a supportive mentoring environment.   Compensation & Schedule Full-time or part-time opportunities available Guaranteed base salary plus production Modified ProSal structure in subsequent years Expected first-year full-time earnings: $150,000+ Flexible scheduling Signing bonus and relocation support Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance CE allowance PTO AVMA PLIT coverage Full reimbursement for license, DEA and membership dues 401(k) with 3% company match Life insurance Strong mentorship and team support If you are looking for a hospital where you can practice high-quality medicine, continue to grow your skills, and enjoy working alongside an experienced and supportive team, we encourage you to apply.
