Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant who can exceed our expectations in exceptional quality care and client service. As an integral part of our team, the veterinary assistants help maintain the flow of the veterinarians’ appointments seen throughout the day. Communicating clearly and concisely is a necessity, as the assistants are responsible for being an advocate for the pets and educating the owners as to what preventative care is needed and getting the medical histories as to the owner’s concerns. The ideal applicant will have a positive attitude and possess a strong attention to detail, personal responsibility, and maturity. Compassion and professionalism are a must. This is a physically demanding position as you are handling, lifting, and caring for animals while on your feet all day.
