Join the Virginia Veterinary Centers, a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital, where you’ll build advanced Surgery skills working hands-on with high-acuity cases while working at the top of your license, making a real impact every shift. Pay & Benefits for Licensed Veterinary Technicians $30/hour & up (based on experience and skills) $6,000 sign-on bonus Full-time benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) Paid Time Off CE Allowance + Free VetBloom (RACE-approved CE) access Veterinary Technician scholarship opportunities VTNE and/or license reimbursement Uniform allowance Employee pet discount Disability & Life Insurance Schedule Four 10-hour shifts Days only Some weekend shifts required Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, radiographs, etc.) You can easily adapt to the different needs of each patient and are able to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations. You are looking for a career and are passionate about learning and growing in the industry and caring for animals.
