The Virginia Veterinary Centers in Short Pump, VA is hiring an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Dentistry Team! Compensation: $27/hr & up (based on experience & skill set) PLUS a $3,000 sign- on bonus for qualified LVT's! Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where you can put your advanced skills to work?  Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians in advanced anesthetic procedures, including pre-medication, intubation, surgical prep, and monitoring Perform diagnostic sample collection, imaging, and lab submissions Maintain and place IV catheters, ensuring proper patient care Accurately administer and document controlled substances  Provide compassionate client communication, from triage to discharge  Ensure proper medical record documentation and OSHA compliance Experience Required: Strong venipuncture & IV catheter placement skills Passion for patient care and client communication Ability to work efficiently in a high-tech, fast-paced environment A team player with a commitment to excellence Qualifications: Veterinary Technician License (required) Strong communication and client service skills Proven ability to multi- task in a fast pace setting Strong sense of compassion and empathy for patients and clients  Strong anesthesia skills Why choose VVC? VVC recognizes the struggles of veterinary professionals.
