Our team is committed to clinical excellence, client education, and creating a supportive, team-oriented workplace. We are seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about animal care, eager to learn, and motivated to support veterinarians and technicians in delivering exceptional patient care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Assist veterinarians and teammates during examinations and procedures Safely restrain dogs and cats for exams, treatments, and diagnostics Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites Clean, disinfect, and maintain hospital equipment and workspaces Support basic laboratory procedures (sample collection, preparation, and processing) Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes to the medical team Provide compassionate care to patients and excellent service to clients Assist with feeding, walking, and maintaining patient comfort Skills Knowledge and Expertise Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in an animal care role preferred Strong animal handling and restraint skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods Benefits Competitive compensation ($14-15/h) Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401k with employer match Paid time off Employee pet care discounts Free access to Calm Health app Continuing education and professional development opportunities Supportive team culture with opportunities for growth Why Join Us?
