Job Description

We are working on behalf of an AAHA-accredited, full-service small animal hospital in Richmond, VA, that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team. This is a busy general practice backed by a large national veterinary group, which means genuine investment in equipment, medicine, and support, inside a hospital that still feels like a close team. The practice is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and laser surgery instruments, and the caseload is varied, covering dogs, cats, pocket pets, exotics, and the occasional avian patient. The culture is collaborative, with a shared commitment to high quality service and exceptional care for every patient. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship, so this is a strong fit whether you are early in your career or an experienced DVM looking for a hospital that will back you properly. Alongside a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, you will have access to a continuing education allowance with paid CE days, an in house CE program for doctors and the wider care team, and the chance to take part in a clinical studies program. Richmond itself is one of America's oldest major cities, with an eclectic food and arts scene, characterful neighborhoods, and easy access to whitewater rafting, the Virginia Capital Trail, and long weekends on the river.
