Medical Director Opportunity (No weekends!) – Newport News, VA Are you an experienced veterinarian looking to take a step up in your career? Atlas have partnered with a well-established 3-doctor, AAHA accredited hospital in Newport News founded over 60 years ago! They have a unique opportunity for someone to join their team as medical director, working alongside the leadership team to drive the success of the hospital. No two days will be the same, but day-to-day responsibilities will include mentoring less experienced veterinarians, assuring regulatory compliance, improving profitability, and providing leadership and direction to the wider team. The hospital is an excellent stand-alone clinic and is equipped with an array of modern diagnostics and technology including digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment, digital dental radiography, video otoscope and cold laser therapy and much more allowing to provide the best outcome to your patients.
