Job Description (no more than 2,000 characters) We are working on behalf of a full service companion animal hospital in Locust Grove, VA that is looking to welcome a full time Associate Veterinarian to its team. This is a small animal general practice covering medicine, surgery, and dentistry, built around preventive care for young pets, early detection and treatment as patients age, and the surgical and medical support they need through every stage of life. The schedule is the part most doctors notice first. Shifts are built around your availability, there is no on-call, and there are no late night expectations, so you can plan your week and actually leave on time. A strong staff to doctor ratio means you are backed by an experienced support team who give you the room to focus on your patients rather than on everything else. Compensation is a competitive base with production on top, and the practice has confirmed a sign-on bonus of up to $60,000 for the right doctor.
