Requirements
Atlas are proud to be working alongside a well-established, privately owned mixed-animal hospital that has been a cornerstone of its local community for over 40 years. This is a rare opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinarian to join a genuinely close-knit and supportive team where quality medicine, autonomy, and work–life balance are truly prioritised. The hospital itself is thoughtfully laid out for efficiency and comfort, with three spacious exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, and a well-organised treatment area. You’ll be supported by modern diagnostics and equipment, including digital radiography, ultrasound capability, laser therapy, and a fully stocked in-house laboratory and pharmacy, allowing you to practice thorough, high-standard medicine without compromise. You’ll be joining a collaborative team of four experienced doctors, alongside licensed technicians, veterinary assistants, and long-tenured support staff — many of whom have been with the practice for over a decade. The culture here is warm, respectful, and team-focused, with mentorship readily available for newer graduates and plenty of autonomy for more experienced clinicians. Doctors are trusted to manage their caseload at a pace that suits their style of practice, with dedicated technician support every day. The role offers outstanding flexibility, including a four-day work week, no weekends, no emergency or on-call duties, and even a three-day weekend once per month.
