Job Description

Are you tired of working nights, weekends, and holidays? Do you occasionally forget what your family looks like after a marathon week of late shifts? Ever wonder what it’s like to have a life outside of work—or at least one that doesn’t feel like a game of BINGO with your schedule? If so, Hartfield Animal Hospital wants to talk to YOU! At Hartfield, we’re all about balance. We believe you can thrive both in the hospital and in life, and we’re committed to making that happen. Who We’re Looking For: We’re searching for an experienced or licensed veterinary technician to join our team. Passionate about pets and people? Perfect. Our mission is to create healthier, happier lives for animals and their families. What’s In It for You? We don’t just talk the talk; we back it up with some seriously awesome benefits: Financial Perks: Flexible compensation based on your skills and future performance. 401(k) matching and Roth Retirement Savings Plan. Flexible Spending Account and 529 Savings Plan. Tuition Support Program and referral bonuses. Wellness Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision). Supplemental insurance (accident, critical illness, hospital, short/long-term disability, legal, and more). Paid parental leave (up to three weeks for the birth or adoption of a child). Generous sick time and PTO. Discounted lab work, services, products, and pet food for all employee pets. Workplace Benefits: Quarterly Team Rewards Bonus Program. Professional development opportunities and state license reimbursement. VTNE exam fee reimbursement and continuing education allowance. Uniform allowance (because scrubs are the real MVPs). Access to a vibrant Facebook community for support, ideas, and inspiration. Lifestyle Perks: Six paid holidays. Employee Assistance Program and discount programs. Surprise snacks in the kitchen (yes, snacks). Best of all: No nights, weekends, on-call shifts, or holidays! What We Expect From You: Let their passion for pets and veterinary care shine every day. Share memes at appropriate (or semi-appropriate) times. Know how to ask for help and offer it to others. Value a workplace where kindness is more than just a poster on the wall. Have the confidence to own tasks and responsibilities. Anticipate the needs of the DVM staff, promoting efficiency and teamwork. Bring a positive, supportive vibe to everything they do. What Makes Hartfield Special: A clinic culture that celebrates your unique awesomeness. Opportunities to use your skills to make a real difference in your community (we work closely with our local animal shelter). A team that genuinely appreciates and uplifts each other. Did we mention no nights, weekends, or holidays? Ready to Join Us? If you’re the veterinary technician we’ve been waiting for, we can’t wait to meet you! Apply today so we can get this ball rolling—because life’s too short for boring jobs and endless shifts. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are core values at Village Veterinary Practice and VetCor. We are passionate about building and sustaining an inclusive and equitable working and learning environment for all employees. We believe every team member enriches our diversity by exposing us to a broad range of ways to understand and engage with the world. That’s why we’re committed to a workplace culture where employees are comfortable being their authentic selves, feel a complete sense of belonging, and are empowered to reach their highest potential.
