Requirements
An established, multi-doctor animal hospital in the Fredericksburg area is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its growing team. This is a well-rounded GP position in a full-service hospital that sees routine appointments, surgery, dentistry, and same-day urgent cases during business hours, with the added bonus of exotic caseload exposure for anyone who enjoys seeing more than just cats and dogs. The hospital has built a strong reputation in its community for compassionate care, clear client communication, and a genuinely personal approach to medicine. The practice itself offers a calm, welcoming environment and a broad clinical offering, including preventative care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, laser therapy, grooming, and boarding. You would be joining an experienced team with long-standing leadership, licensed technician support, and doctors whose interests include preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, diagnostic imaging, emergency/urgent care, and exotic companion animal medicine. For a vet who enjoys collaborative case discussion and wants variety in their day, there is a lot here to get excited about. This role would suit either an experienced veterinarian or a newer graduate who would value genuine support. The team is keen to add someone collaborative, kind, and clinically motivated, and they are open to helping the right person grow with mentorship and encouragement.
