Fredericksburg SPCA’s Locke Community Medical Center in Fredericksburg, VA is looking for a veterinarian to join the team with a new schedule offering – GP Flex. GP Flex allows you to maximize your professional development and career satisfaction as a general practitioner, while building a fulfilling, eventful life outside of work. We offer all brand new state of the art equipment not limited to but including: digital full-body x-ray technology, digital dental x-ray technology, ultrasound machine, oxygen concentrators, heated surgery tables, surgical equipment, anesthesia machines and all new in-house IDEXX Laboratory equipment. This veterinarian position is for someone who loves to see public patients and can have the ultimate experience of being in a position similar to owning your own practice BUT without all of the headaches, hassle and overhead worries as we have staff who take care of everything for you from scheduling appointments, managing support staff, ordering, financial accounting and reporting and ALL you would need to do is see patients and provide a quality care of medicine, dental experience a PLUS! Pay range depends on the number of shifts per week: $90,000-$150,000 per year + performance bonuses. Are you a veterinarian who has student loans? If so, we have a solution for you! The Locke Community Medical Center is a non-profit clinic and the time you would put into working for us you would become eligible for Public Student Loan Forgiveness! Ask us how! Come let Fredericksburg inspire you! This position offers a schedule allowing for a great work/life balance - GP flex, which consists of 12 shifts per 4 weeks. You will also be eligible for base compensation + performance bonuses, medical, dental, vision, 401K, generous, CE allowance, reimbursement for membership dues and license fees. Additionally, if you would prefer to work 16 shifts per 4 weeks we would discuss a higher compensation package.
