Job Description

The Veterinary Technician will assist our Veterinarian team with all treatment and care of animal patients. The Fredericksburg SPCA is a highly progressive animal welfare organization. This is a fast-paced environment focused on providing high quality, high volume spay and neuter surgeries and affordable medical care to our shelter animals and our community. We are a small, tight knit team so we are looking for someone that fits in well with the group. The ideal candidate will work well on a team as well as take the initiative to complete tasks as an individual. We look for easy-going, low-drama folks, who maintain a positive attitude and have a sense of humor. The ideal candidate will be timely, reliable, courteous and respectful to team members, hard-working, and an excellent communicator. We value respect, hard work and optimism. We work hard, but like to have fun while doing it!
