Established in 2005, our hospital is at the forefront of providing cutting-edge Critical Care, Emergency, and Urgent Care services to the pets and families of Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas. As the Emergency Director, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with our board certified Criticalist and leading our emergency veterinary team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and guidance to the emergency veterinary team Oversee and manage emergency cases, ensuring the highest standard of care Foster a positive and collaborative work environment Implement and uphold hospital protocols and standards Collaborate with other department heads and board certified Criticalist to enhance overall hospital performance Actively participate in continued education and training programs Collaboration with Specialized Centers: The Emergency Director will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with multiple specialists located just an hour away in Richmond. Working closely with specialists in areas such as Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, and Dentistry, the Emergency Director will contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
