Job Description

I’m working on behalf of a well-established small animal hospital in Vint Hill, Virginia, that is looking to welcome a full-time Veterinarian to their close-knit, progressive team. This is a dogs-and-cats-only practice with a strong reputation in the local community and a genuinely supportive culture where people tend to stay and grow their careers. The hospital operates out of a modern, well-maintained standalone building and is fully digital, with systems and workflows designed to make your day run smoothly. You’ll be supported by an excellent technician and support team, allowing you to focus on practicing high-quality medicine rather than juggling everything yourself. The environment is collaborative and respectful, with an emphasis on work-life balance — schedules are built to avoid late nights, there’s no on-call, and you can expect to leave on time. This opportunity would suit both experienced veterinarians and those earlier in their career who value mentorship, stability, and long-term growth. In addition to competitive base salary and production, the practice offers strong benefits, generous time off, and potential partnership opportunities through a well-respected veterinary network that provides operational support while allowing doctors to focus on medicine. Key Highlights: • Full-service small animal hospital (dogs & cats only) • Competitive salary of $125,000–$165,000 + production • Generous sign-on bonus available • Flexible scheduling with no on-call or late nights • Excellent staff-to-doctor ratio for strong clinical support • Fully digital practice embracing innovation and growth • Partnership opportunities available for long-term career development About You: • DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US • You hold (or are eligible for) a licensure in Virginia • Passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, team-focused environment • Interested in long-term growth within a stable, supportive practice Benefits: • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with employer contribution • Generous CE allowance • All licenses and professional dues covered • Paid holidays and generous PTO to properly recharge
