About the Area

We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30pm. We do not work weekends or major holidays.

Job Description

Responsibilities: Patient care (laser therapy, bandaging, radiographs, administering medications, treatments; proper canine and feline restraint) Provide exceptional customer service to all clientele, as well as communicate accurate client education. Draw blood, place IV catheters, administer IV and SQ fluids as required. Process laboratory samples such as blood, urine, feces, fine needle aspirates, etc. Assist the veterinarian's in surgery, monitor anesthesia or scrub in as a sterile assistant. Monitor all post-op anesthetic recovery and sedation patients. Properly sanitize surgical and dental suites, clean surgical instruments, wrap surgical packs, and properly sterilize. Fill prescription medications, assist with stocking as needed. Assisting DVM’s in exam rooms, patient assessment's, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures. Be a pro-active team-member and take initiative where help is needed. Assist in other areas of the hospital such as reception and kennels as necessary.
