Job Description

ad job desc. here We’re partnering with a progressive veterinary care provider that is reimagining what leadership in veterinary medicine should look like. This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Veterinarian who wants to mentor and support a veterinary team while remaining heavily focused on clinical medicine, without the traditional administrative pressures that often come with leadership roles. You’ll work alongside one other DVM on-site within a beautifully designed, purpose-built hospital spanning approximately 3,200 square feet. Each clinic features 5–6 examination rooms, carefully curated workflows, and thoughtfully designed spaces that genuinely support veterinary wellbeing, including modern breakrooms and dedicated wellness and mental health rooms. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys coaching, collaboration, and helping shape clinical standards, while still spending the vast majority of their time practicing medicine. Operational and administrative responsibilities are intentionally streamlined, allowing you to focus on patient care, team support, and maintaining an exceptional clinical environment. The hospitals are fully equipped with advanced technology including ultrasound, digital radiography, integrated practice systems, and modern diagnostic equipment, giving you everything needed to practice high-quality medicine efficiently and confidently. The organisation is committed to creating flexible, sustainable careers for veterinarians and offers scheduling designed to support work-life balance alongside an industry-leading compensation package. Schedule • 4 x 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays Key Highlights • Lead Veterinarian role focused primarily on clinical work rather than administration • Work collaboratively alongside another DVM in clinic daily • Industry-leading compensation package of $200,000–$220,000 • Flexible 4 x 10-hour schedule with rotating Saturdays • Purpose-built 3,200 sq. ft hospitals with 5–6 exam rooms • Dedicated wellness spaces, modern breakrooms, and thoughtfully designed clinics • Advanced equipment including ultrasound, digital x-ray, and integrated technology systems • About You • DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US • You hold (or are eligible for) a licensure in the relevant state • Passionate about mentoring and supporting fellow veterinary professionals • Enjoys collaborative clinical leadership within a team-oriented environment • Committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused veterinary medicine Benefits • $200,000–$220,000 compensation package • Flexible scheduling designed around sustainable veterinary careers • Modern, fully equipped hospitals with cutting-edge technology • Strong clinical support with collaborative team structures • Wellness-focused culture prioritising mental health and work-life balance
