Requirements
Schertz Animal Hospital, a well-established and high-quality small animal general practice, seeks to add a Veterinary Technician to our friendly team. Our hospital boasts an enjoyable working environment with great leadership and excellent support staff. We have a state of the art and clean hospital. Our staff prides itself on their technical as well as interpersonal skills. We are a great team, and are looking to add a talented and drama free member to our work family. We are dedicated to active learning and advanced medical procedures and our Technicians play an integral role in providing excellent medical care to our patients and customer service to our clients. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all team members. Job duties include but are not limited to: assist doctors in exam room, including patient restraint, hospitalization care, properly perform medical treatments on hospitalized patients including administering PO,IM, subcutaneous, and IV medications. Collecting and processing laboratory samples, Client contact and communication, taking radiographs, filling medications, helping maintain the cleanliness of our facility.
