Requirements
An AAHA-accredited animal hospital in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its team. This well-established small animal practice has been serving the San Antonio community for over 40 years and has built a strong reputation for compassionate, high-quality care. The hospital is committed to using fear-free handling techniques wherever possible, helping to create a calmer, lower-stress experience for pets and their owners. The caseload is centered on comprehensive care for cats and dogs, with a mix of wellness visits and sick patient appointments giving you variety day to day. The facility is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house laboratory capabilities, and soft tissue surgery, supporting a broad range of medical and surgical cases. You will be joining a collaborative four doctor team, including a Medical Director, with well over a century of combined clinical experience between them. The team fosters a genuinely supportive learning environment, and new graduates are warmly encouraged to apply, with dedicated mentorship available. This is a full time position working four 10 hour shifts per week, averaging one Saturday per month, with a half day off during the week whenever a Saturday shift is worked.
