$5,000 Sign On Bonus! This position is located in Round Rock, Texas Animal Care Clinic of Round Rock is a fast-paced, busy practice looking for an engaged and experienced Veterinary Technician to help care for our clients and patients! Animal Care Clinic Round Rock encourages Fear Free training and is currently gaining that training/certification to support staff and DVMs! Our ideal candidate: Is accountable, respectful, adaptable, remains composed, and is an emotionally intelligent communicator Has a strong work ethic Possesses exceptional customer service skills Is a team player Minimum of 1-year tech experience preferred We expect our technicians to be proficient at the following: Phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, giving subcutaneous injections, IM injections, and IV injections Animal restraint Radiography techniques Intensive care/IV fluid care Have an understanding of infectious disease protocol Anesthesia proficiency is a plus, but not required. We encourage learning and advancing skills. Technicians are also expected to be able to take a medical history, discuss estimates, and answer basic questions for clients. We foster a team environment and technicians may be asked to work in reception as well.
