As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will work alongside doctors, shift leadership, and rehabilitation team members to deliver exceptional patient care and supportive client experience. You will assist with evaluations, perform rehabilitation treatments, communicate with pet owners, and play an important role in helping patients improve comfort, mobility, and confidence. This is a great opportunity for a motivated technician who enjoys learning, collaborating, mentoring newer team members, and celebrating meaningful patient progress.Minimum requirement: two years of experience working as a veterinary technician.What You’ll Do: Assist the practitioner with patient evaluations Perform rehabilitation treatments throughout the day Provide clear, compassionate communication with clients Assist with ice, laser, and other prescribed rehabilitation treatments Always maintain a clean work area Consistent, regular attendance and on-time arrival at work each day you are scheduled Always be in position and prepared to work at the start of each shift Ability to work well with others as a team Flexibility and the ability to adjust to a changing environment Handle stress and pressure calmly, with poise and tact Self-motivated, hard worker Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate appropriately Willingness and ability to learn new tasks quickly Ability to receive constructive criticism and accept responsibility for actions Reliable and dependable Common sense, good judgment, and a sense of humor How You’ll Succeed: In this role, you will receive directions from the Rehabilitation Director, who provides assignments, priorities, and support. You will handle routine responsibilities independently, use good judgment in new or unfamiliar situations, and partner with leadership to ensure care is delivered accurately, safely, and consistently. Must accomplish regular Continuing Education classes in relation to your role. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, stand and restrain animals for extended periods of time. Required to lift up to forty (40) pounds. Employees will be expected to request assistance with lifting or carrying animals or materials over 40 pounds.
