Requirements
A brand-new small animal hospital in Pflugerville, TX is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its founding team! This is a rare chance to get in at the very beginning. The hospital is newly built and purpose-designed, and you will be just the second doctor to join, giving you real influence over the culture, protocols, and long-term direction of the practice as it grows. As a full-service small animal hospital, the caseload covers medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. The facility has been thoughtfully laid out to support efficient, high-quality care, with separate surgery, dental, and radiology areas, dedicated dog and cat treatment spaces, and multiple exam rooms with room for continued growth. Equipment includes digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, and therapeutic laser. You will be working alongside an experienced founding team of clinical and operations staff who value mentorship, teamwork, and open communication. The administrative side is taken care of for you, so your focus can stay on medicine, and you will have genuine autonomy over your clinical decisions. Work-life balance is built into the schedule. The hospital is closed on weekends, so you can expect a consistent 4-day work week with no weekend shifts and no after-hours requirements.
