A well-established, full-service small animal hospital in McKinney, TX is seeking a compassionate and driven Associate Veterinarian to join their close-knit two-doctor team! Serving the North Texas community since 1999, this independently rooted practice has grown into a highly respected hospital with a loyal client base and a strong reputation for delivering exceptional, personalized care to dogs and cats. The hospital is well-known for its low-stress handling approach, same-day and next-day appointment availability, and a genuinely warm, community-focused culture. Housed in a gorgeous, stand-alone building, this quaint yet modern facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools including digital radiography, ultrasound, echocardiogram capability, in-house laboratory, laser therapy, and a fully equipped dental suite. The caseload is broad and rewarding, spanning wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, pain management, nutrition, and more. The hospital is also one of a select few general practices in the DFW area offering advanced orthopedic procedures including TPLO surgery. You'll be joining a collaborative two-doctor team, both with interests in surgery and internal medicine, alongside a dedicated practice manager and a wider support team of thirteen, creating a communicative, team-driven working environment. Enjoy a great work-life balance with a 4-day work week and rotating Saturday morning coverage, with Sundays always off.
