Requirements
We are seeking a Medical Director to lead a high-volume, well-established veterinary hospital in Houston. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to step into a leadership role while continuing to practice high-quality medicine in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The hospital is a long-standing practice with modern upgrades, including a fully equipped surgical suite, in-house laboratory, digital radiography with dental imaging, and ultrasound. With a strong and loyal client base, the practice offers a consistent and diverse caseload, allowing veterinarians to fully utilize their clinical and surgical skills. In this role, the Medical Director will provide comprehensive patient care while also supporting the development of clinical protocols, mentoring associate veterinarians, and fostering a positive, team-oriented culture. The position requires strong leadership, advanced clinical skills, and the ability to manage both medical standards and team collaboration effectively. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian with several years of experience who thrives in a high-volume setting and is looking to take the next step into leadership, with the support, flexibility, and resources needed for long-term success.
