Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists was founded in 1988 and is currently one of the largest veterinary hospitals in the country. Today, GCVS is an internationally respected veterinary specialty and emergency hospital with 14 departments, over 50 veterinarians many of whom are board-certified specialists, and more than 200 highly trained support staff. Our mission is simple: We provide specialized care, in partnership with the veterinary community, to help families with pets. We use our extensive experience and expertise in all major veterinary specialties to provide the highest quality, most comprehensive specialized care for companion animals, while working to advance veterinary technology through education and innovation.

Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) is currently looking for Emergency Veterinarians! We are now open! Looking to start a position sooner? We have the flexibility for Veterinarians to start at our main Gulf Coast location and transition to Nasa Parkway when we open. We also offer the option to work at both locations if desired. Work with the best! GCVS values innovation and individuality at the practice level while recognizing the power of collaboration. We are looking for an individual who shares our passion for advancing medicine and will consider leadership opportunities for the right candidate. Our brand new, 12,000 sq-ft hospital will be home to a full-service ER with specialty practices in Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Radiology. In addition to an in-house lab, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and CT, our Nasa Parkway hospital will have access to our well-established resources spanning over 12 specialties at GCVS.
