This AAHA-accredited, well-equipped hospital is searching for an enthusiastic, passionate Veterinarian to join their multi-doctor team in West Houston, TX! Due to low staff turnover, this is a rare opportunity to join this incredible stand-alone hospital in a fantastic location! As an Associate Veterinarian, you will work collaboratively with the rest of your team as well as benefit from the support of a large, experienced team of support staff so you can focus on providing gold-standard levels of care to your patients. The existing veterinarians hold over 60 years of experience and have a genuine passion for mentoring and teaching, so both experienced and new graduate veterinarians will have the correct level of support in place for them to succeed and grow. This hospital has a loyal client base that has been built up over the last 30 years and holds a fantastic reputation in the local Houston community. As well as providing a wide range of primary care services this clinic also holds advanced diagnostic equipment including Ultrasound, EKG, and top-of-the-range digital radiology so pets can be diagnosed and treated efficiently onsite. If you have an interest in surgery, this clinic sees a sizeable level of soft tissue surgeries and you will have a dedicated surgery day scheduled. Your clinical interests will be taken into account and supported in this hospital with an incredible CE allowance and diverse caseload allowing you to focus on what you enjoy the most. With a large emphasis on preventative care and client education, this clinic is known for building long-lasting relationships with it’s patients and pet parents. When it comes to scheduling, work-life balance is highly prioritized at this hospital so you will be able to choose a set schedule that works best for you and your individual circumstances. Typically, veterinarians work 4/10 shifts and rotate Saturday mornings between them, this will roughly be 1:3 Saturday mornings on rotation so you can make plans well in advance. In relation to a work/life balance, you will be given a very generous PTO allowance so you have time to get some well-deserved R&R!
