Requirements
Highland Park Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join one of Dallas’s most established and prestigious veterinary practices. With over 57 years of service in the Dallas community, we now operate in a state-of-the-art, three-story luxury hospital offering advanced medical care and exceptional client service. This is an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Technician who is passionate about high-quality medicine, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to grow within a progressive, full-service hospital. Here is What Your day May Consist of: Provide high-quality patient care for dogs and cats Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments Perform IV catheter placement and blood collection Monitor and assist with anesthesia and surgical procedures Administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, oral) Educate clients on vaccines, preventative care, and treatment plans Support advanced services including radiology, ultrasonography, and lab diagnostics Maintain accurate medical records Our Services Include: Preventative and wellness care Emergency and urgent care Surgery and advanced orthopedics (TPLO, fracture repair, FHO, MLP) Dentistry and internal medicine Endoscopy, ultrasonography, and radiology Laser therapy and in-house diagnostics Grooming and boarding Here is What You Will Bring to the Position: Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT preferred) Proficiency in IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and anesthesia monitoring Strong knowledge of vaccines and preventative care protocols Excellent communication and client education skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Passion for delivering exceptional patient care Here is What We Will Offer You: Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision insurance Employee discounts Flexible schedules 401K with company match Career development and training About Highland Park Animal Hospital Highland Park Animal Hospital has been serving the Dallas community since 1964 and we know how important your pets are to you.
