Mobile Veterinary Surgeon - Autonomy, No Weekends, 100% Surgical Caseload!

Seeking a high level of autonomy? Have a passion for surgery? No weekends? You’re in the right place! This truly unique position will allow you to work 9am-3pm Mon-Fri, across hospitals across Dallas performing a mixture of orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgery.   You do NOT need to be board-certified for this position, just hold a passion for surgery. Your caseload will vary day-to-day depending on clinic needs but will include various advanced and routine soft-tissue and mostly orthopedic surgeries such as TPLOs, CCL procedures, osteotomies, fracture repairs, and more. You will roughly perform between 2-3 surgeries per day. You will travel to various hospital sites across the Dallas area – the employer will provide you with a company vehicle, and cover all travel expenses. Based on current Veterinarians in this position, you can expect to take home between $200,000 - $400,000 per year! As well as performing surgeries, you will also have the opportunity to mentor and teach within clinics for any Veterinarians looking to improve their surgical skills – making a real impact in the hospitals across Dallas. The owners are approved CE mentors, a board-certified surgeon, and other members of the team are passionate about mentorship and teaching so if you are looking for a 100% surgical caseload but don’t feel quite confident in certain procedures, you will be supported and encouraged to develop you skills with the team. About you:  You will have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited college or equivalent.  You must hold a Texas State License in good standing or have the ability to obtain one (if relocating). A passion for surgery, ideally orthopedic surgery is preferred. Excellent communication and time-management skills are essential. You will have considerable expertise in routine orthopedic and soft-tissue surgery.
