Veterinary Technician – Austin Urban Vet Center (Austin, TX) Experienced Vet Tech | Animal Hospital | Full-Time Opportunity What is your favorite thing about your pet? Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans Perform technical skills including: Venipuncture and catheter placement Radiology (X-rays) Laboratory sample collection and processing Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance Administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, and oral) Provide patient monitoring and nursing care Educate pet owners on treatment plans, preventive care, and at-home care Maintain accurate medical records Support a positive, team-oriented hospital culture Skills Knowledge and Expertise Veterinary Technician experience required (CVT/LVT/RVT preferred but not required) Strong technical and clinical skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment Excellent communication and client service skills Passion for animal care and client education Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision insurance Employee discounts Flexible schedules 401K with company match Career development and training About Austin Urban Veterinary Center Austin Urban Veterinary Center was founded to bring complete pet care to the dogs and cats of Austin, TX.
