We are seeking a Medical Director to lead a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital in Austin. This opportunity offers a leadership role within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment, ideal for an experienced veterinarian looking to combine high-quality medicine with hospital leadership and team development. The hospital has been serving the local community for more than 20 years and is equipped with advanced veterinary technology and services, including digital radiography, in-house laboratory diagnostics, ultrasound, and routine surgical capabilities. The practice focuses on providing comprehensive care for cats and dogs while maintaining a strong emphasis on fear-free handling techniques and client relationships. In this role, the Medical Director will oversee medical quality standards, mentor veterinarians and support staff, guide hospital workflows, and continue providing hands-on clinical care. The position also involves collaborating with operational leadership to support hospital growth, team culture, staff development, and overall hospital performance.
