Job Description

Join our veterinary health care team, where your knowledge and skills will be valued and utilized. You will work beside Dr Brotherton, who has over 15 years educating veterinary technicians. You will collaborate with veterinarians and other staff in all aspects of clinic operations, including but not limited to: taking patient histories, obtaining vital signs, restraining animals for exams and treatments, collecting samples, processing laboratory tests, preparing for surgery, and monitoring patients during surgery and recovery. Additionally, you will be responsible for ongoing cleaning and disinfecting throughout the day, filling prescriptions, handling lab specimens, managing laundry, and performing other duties essential to providing wellness and rehabilitation services. Qualifications: - Graduate of an AVMA CVTEA-accredited veterinary technology program - Preferably experienced in a small animal care setting - Veterinary Technician licensure in the state of Tennessee - Availability for weekend rotations is required Please send your résumé along with a cover letter outlining your career goals, experience, and expected salary to dr.brotherton@yahoo.com.
