Main Street Animal Clinic is a well-established small animal hospital in Oakland, Tennessee, looking for a Medical Director to step in and continue to lead the hospital into its next phase. We already have a strong foundation: an experienced team, a loyal client base, and the tools needed to practice high-quality medicine. What we're looking for now is someone who wants the ability to lead and shape what comes next. What You'll Walk Into A 4-doctor team supported by extremely skilled support staff (2:1 ratio) A hospital known locally for more advanced services, including orthopedics and chiropractic care A client base that values thorough workups and continuity of care The structure and support to practice efficiently without feeling rushed About the Role You'll have the ability to: Influence how cases are approached and how medicine is practiced day-to-day Mentor and collaborate with other doctors in a way that fits your style Continue building on existing services or introduce new ones that interest you Balance leadership responsibilities with a meaningful clinical caseload If you enjoy surgery, there's ample opportunity to focus on advanced soft tissue or orthopedic procedures. If you're certified in chiropractic care, that's something the practice already values and supports. We would welcome the addition of acupuncture as well.
