Our team includes over 20 compassionate and highly trained Licensed Veterinary Technicians, numerous veterinary assistants, other support staff, and supportive administration.

We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and motivated ICU Kennel Technician to join our fast-paced Emergency and Specialty Veterinary Hospital. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on animal care, thrives in a team environment, and is eager to learn and develop new skills with the opportunity to train into a Veterinary Assistant role. About the Role: As an ICU Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Intensive Care Unit team by maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment, assisting veterinary technicians and doctors, and helping provide exceptional patient care to critically ill and injured pets. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in building a long-term career in veterinary medicine. Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 12 hour day shift Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role: Clean and disinfect kennels, treatment areas, exam rooms, and hospital equipment  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized ICU environment  Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with patient care and daily hospital operations  Restrain patients safely for examinations and treatments  Walk, feed, and monitor hospitalized patients as directed  Stock supplies and ensure treatment areas remain fully equipped  Launder bedding and maintain hospital cleanliness standards  Assist with patient transport throughout the hospital  Support the ICU team during emergency and critical care procedures  Learn veterinary assistant skills through on-the-job training and mentorship What You'll Bring: Strong work ethic and willingness to learn  Passion for animal care and veterinary medicine Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally rewarding environment Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills   Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset   Ability to lift and restrain animals of various sizes   Reliable attendance and punctuality   Previous animal care, kennel, boarding, shelter, or veterinary experience is a plus but not required  Growth Opportunity We believe in developing talent from within. We have the latest specialized surgery and diagnostic instrumentation and equipment including 16-slice CT scanner, Vivid iQ echocardiogram platform, digital radiology, ultrasound systems, fluoroscopy unity, endoscopy, high-def Storz tower with new laparoscopic equipment, Arthrex equipment, LigaSure, Autocon III, Storz Ho-YAG laser, Synthes locking plates, and ESF equipment. In 2026, we will be completing our 20,000-square-foot specialty expansion and we will be adding Neurology, Cardiology, and other specialists to our team, as well as a new MRI scanner, CT scanner, linear accelerator, IR suite with ceiling-mounted fluoroscopy, and surgical suites measuring at least 18’ x 18’.
