We provide veterinary care in an environment rooted in comfort and compassion. Our hospital is comprised of a cohesive group of veterinarians who are board-certified, with advanced experience and training in a variety of areas: internal medicine, surgery, and oncology. We use state-of-the-art medical technology and fully equipped surgical suites, including an on-site CT scanner, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy.

Job Description

Join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist and be the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you’ll provide exceptional client service, schedule appointments, answer phones, maintain accurate medical records, process payments, and support veterinarians and technicians to ensure outstanding patient care. You’ll help guide clients through emergency and specialty visits with compassion, professionalism, and clear communication. Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role: Greet clients and provide exceptional customer service Answer phones, schedule appointments, and coordinate emergency patient intake Process payments, deposits, and discuss financial options Maintain accurate medical records and client communications Support patient flow and collaborate with the veterinary team Keep the reception and lobby areas clean and organized Preferred Qualifications Previous veterinary, emergency, or specialty hospital experience preferred Excellent communication, multitasking, and customer service skills Veterinary software experience (Instinct, VIA, or similar) preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:00 AM Benefits Paid time off Health insurance Dental Insurance Vision insurance Employee discounts Flexible schedules 401K with company match Training and Career development  About Animal Emergency & Specialty Center - Chattanooga Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Chattanooga is a 24-hour Emergency and Referral facility.
