Job Description

We’re proudly partnering with a long-established, privately-owned small-animal group that is adding another veterinarian due to steady growth and incredible client demand. With three well-supported GP hospitals—ranging from newly built, modern facilities to long-standing community practices—this group offers the stability of decades in practice combined with a progressive, forward-thinking leadership team. Across all locations, you'll find modern equipment, a respectful and cohesive culture, and an experienced team of doctors who genuinely enjoy mentoring and supporting one another. Equipped with advanced technology including IDEXX in-house labs, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and a microscope with a teaching camera. Veterinary assistants are highly capable and deeply trusted, with most doctors supported by two to three assistants per shift. This is a team that values assertive but respectful communication, zero toxicity, and collaborative problem-solving. Several doctors bring 10+ years of experience, with additional talent in behavior, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and exotics—plus an in-house PhD-level comparative pathology expert who loves to teach. Your week typically includes one dedicated surgery morning, 30-minute appointments, no weekends, no on-call, and the flexibility to work a 3- or 4-day schedule. Mentorship is truly supported here, with dedicated support schemes in place to kick start your career. The group offers strong pro/sal compensation, 401k with match, comprehensive health coverage, and CE support. Key Highlights: • Multi-location, well-established group of privately-owned hospitals with modern technology and diagnostics • Strong support staff ratio, ensuring smooth workflow and meaningful support • One dedicated surgery morning per week + 30 minute appointment blocks • No weekend, on-call, after hours work and flexible 3-4 day schedule • Strong mentorship structure – ideal for new graduates or those seeking growth • Opportunities to learn exotics and pocket pet medicine • Collaborative, non-toxic culture with long staff tenure About You: • DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US • You gold (or are eligible for) a licensure in South Carolina • Open to surgery (not essential) and interested in well-supported GP medicine • A strong communicator who values a respectful, team-focused culture • Interested in mentorship – either giving it or receiving it Benefits: • Prosal compensation with earning potential aligned to experience • 401(k) with employer matching • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance • Dedicated CE allowance + CE days • PTO, opportunity for relocation assistance
