Job Description What you’ll be doing: As part of our veterinary team, you’ll play an important role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and support to our clients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Safely and compassionately handling and restraining pets during exams and procedures Triaging incoming patients and assisting with patient flow Collecting and processing laboratory samples and assisting with diagnostic testing Taking and assisting with radiographs (x-rays) and other diagnostic imaging Providing nursing care for medical and hospitalized patients with a range of conditions and stability levels Administering medications and treatments as directed Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients regarding treatment plans and patient care Assisting with surgical preparation, surgical support, and anesthetic monitoring Qualifications We’re looking for a motivated Veterinary Assistant who’s ready to grow with a supportive, fast-paced team! Prior veterinary experience preferred (1+ year ideal), but we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and build their skills Compassionate, calm under pressure, and a true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment Strong communicator with excellent multitasking skills and a positive, can-do attitude Comfortable and confident handling and safely restraining pets of all sizes and temperaments Hands-on experience with sample collection, obtaining medical histories, and assisting with laboratory testing and radiographs Surgical and anesthesia experience is a strong plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate! Self-motivated and eager to continue expanding knowledge and advancing clinical skills We’re looking for someone who enjoys both the medical and hands-on aspects of veterinary care and wants to be part of a team that supports learning, growth, and high-quality patient care.
