Medical Director – Charleston, SC About the Role: A well-established small animal practice in Charleston, South Carolina is seeking a Medical Director (DVM/VMD) to lead clinical excellence while continuing to practice high-quality medicine. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys mentoring others, shaping medical standards, and partnering closely with a collaborative team. You will be empowered to guide clinical direction, support associate development, and deliver outstanding patient and client care, all within a well-resourced and supportive environment. About the Practice: The practice is a general practice small animal hospital with deep community roots and a loyal client base. The team consists of experienced veterinarians and skilled support staff who value collaboration, communication, and compassionate care. Facilities are modern and well equipped, including: Digital radiography and dental radiography In-house diagnostic capabilities Efficient workflows to support quality medicine The practice is located in a highly desirable coastal South Carolina area, offering an exceptional lifestyle with easy access to historic districts, beaches, and outdoor recreation.
