Job Description

Join a progressive, hybrid GP and emergency hospital in South Carolina that is continuing to invest heavily in both its people and its clinical offering. This well-established, multi-doctor practice operates out of a modern, fully equipped facility featuring digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and advanced therapeutic tools including photobiomodulation. The hospital manages a diverse caseload spanning routine wellness through to complex emergency and surgical cases, offering excellent clinical variety for an experienced ER veterinarian looking to stay challenged and engaged. You’ll be joining a collaborative and well-supported team of experienced veterinarians, skilled technicians, and dedicated support staff who genuinely enjoy working together. The hospital places a strong emphasis on mentorship, knowledge sharing, and maintaining a positive, respectful culture. Backed by a growing veterinary group, you’ll benefit from wider network support, structured professional development opportunities, and leadership pathways—while still maintaining clinical autonomy at a local level. This role is ideal for an experienced emergency clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing a varied caseload. Flexible scheduling is available, with a genuine focus on work-life balance and long-term career sustainability. The compensation structure is highly competitive, with both salary and ProSal options available, alongside sign-on and relocation support tailored to individual needs. Key Highlights (Min 7 bullet points): • Hybrid GP/ER hospital with a varied and interesting caseload • Modern, well-equipped facility with advanced diagnostic tools • Collaborative, highly experienced clinical and support team • Backing of a supportive veterinary group with 50+ practices • Flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance • Strong focus on continued education and leadership development • Competitive compensation with salary or ProSal options About You (Min 5 bullet points): • DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US • You hold (or are eligible for) a licensure in South Carolina • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in emergency veterinary medicine • Confident managing a fast-paced and varied caseload • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Benefits (Min 5 bullet points): • Competitive base salary ($100,000–$150,000+) with production options • Generous CE allowance plus access to structured training programs • Health, dental, vision insurance + 401(k) with up to 5% match • Paid parental leave, PTO, and professional dues coverage • Mental health support for you and your household
