Requirements
We are working with a privately owned, integrative small animal general practice in Doylestown, PA that is looking for a Relief Veterinarian to join the team on an ongoing basis. This is a thoughtful, holistic minded hospital housed in a converted historic farmhouse, where medicine is practiced with a deliberately conservative approach to vaccines, antibiotics, and pharmaceuticals, and many clients embrace raw diets, acupuncture, and other integrative modalities. The relief role is built around straightforward general practice and urgent care appointments in 30 minute slots, with no surgery required and no overnight hospitalization, so you can focus purely on seeing patients. The practice refers out anything beyond routine GP work or that requires intensive care, giving you the freedom to practice without the pressure of handling every case in house. You will be supported by certified veterinary technicians and technician assistants, and will work alongside a small, close knit team that values collaboration between conventional and holistic minded doctors. This is a great fit for a relief veterinarian who is open-minded about integrative medicine, comfortable with client choices around raw feeding and alternative modalities, and looking for a consistent, ongoing relief schedule with genuine flexibility around days worked.
