Job Description

We are working on behalf of a modern, full-service small-animal hospital in the heart of Philadelphia, PA that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its five-doctor team. Set in one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods, this is a practice where medical excellence, genuine collaboration, and great client care sit at the center of everything. You will step into a busy but well-managed caseload, roughly 15 to 17 appointments a day, backed by a strong support team of two to two and a half technicians per doctor. That ratio matters. It lets you focus on medicine while skilled techs and dedicated client service staff handle the rest. The case mix is varied, spanning wellness and preventive care, sick visits, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, daytime urgent cases, and advanced diagnostics. The facility is built for high-quality medicine, with a large treatment area, multiple exam rooms, in-house diagnostics, and digital imaging. Leadership is present and supportive, and the culture is one that rewards a positive attitude and real teamwork. Compensation is competitive, with a base plus production structure, no negative accrual, and a long-term incentive program that lets you share in the success you help build. You will also find flexible scheduling, strong mentorship, and a clear focus on work-life balance. Whether you are an experienced DVM or still growing into your stride, this is a place designed to help you do your best work and build lasting relationships with pets and their families.
